Bancroft Rockhound Gemboree

The Rockhound Gemboree is a four day festival that humbly began in a farmers field in 1964. Over the last sixty years the event has grown from being held outside in tents to being held indoors in two venues, the North Hastings Community Centre and the Bancroft Curling Club. There is a third venue outside with dealers which maintains the spirit of the original Rockhound Gemboree. Approximately 100 dealers participate in the Rockhound Gemboree making it known as Canada's largest gem and mineral show.
The Rockhound Gemboree is Canada's largest gem and mineral show, celebrated annually in Bancroft, Ontario. Bancroft is recognized as an area of geological significance and is renowned as the "Mineral Capital of Canada." The 60th Annual Rockhound Gemboree will be held on Thursday, July 31st to Sunday, August 3rd, 2025." The Rockhound Gemboree offers a unique shopping experience that showcases an exceptional collection of mineral and fossil specimens, jewellery, lapidary supplies, and more.
