Amherstburg TRUEfest
TRUEfest began as an inclusive festival and a reason to extend the winter light festival at the very beginning of 2020. One town block is closed off to vehicular traffic to allow for the free flowing of fun and activities. Held at the end of January, this dance party requires people to dress up disco style and dance the night away to stay warm. Featuring a live DJ, Drag performances and buskers the night is filled with entertainment. It is meant as a way to get people outside to enjoy each others company and feel welcome in our community with the tag line "be who you are".
