Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest

Bill Stewart has made a tremendous contribution to the Festivals industry. First, in his community as a volunteer, board member and President of Kitchener-Waterloo Okoberfest, then as a professional for eleven years as the Executive Director of this internationally recognized event.

Across Canada he was the originator of networking between festivals and the President of the Canadian Association of Festivals and Events. From CAFÉ as it was known grew Festivals and Events Ontario, of which Bill Stewart was a founding member and long-time supporter.

Bill retired in 1994 and was bestowed a lifetime membership on the Board of Directors of Oktoberfest.
