Whitby Brooklin Harvest Festival

The Town of Whitby’s Brooklin Harvest Festival celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2024 and annually takes place on the third Saturday in September. This year the event attracted over 15,000 people to Grass Park and historic Downtown Brooklin to enjoy outdoor activities, local shopping, the rich fall colours and bountiful local produce. The event featured more than 120 Farmer’s Market and community vendors, live music and roaming entertainment, horse and wagon and trolley rides, a scarecrow scavenger hunt, interactive demonstrations and homemade goods. The event also includes a kids zone with giant inflatables, rock wall, face-painting and children’s crafts, games and activities. Great fall festive photo op and selfie locations were located throughout the event site. The dinosaur exhibit highlighted one of the favorite selfie locations of a life sized dinosaur head that you climbed right into. As Harvest Festival's popularity continues to grow, new sections of streets were closed offering many new businesses the opportunity to take advantaged of the newly walkable space to showcase their business.
