Markham Milliken Children's Festival
Following another successful iteration of the Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival in 2023, the annual festival was held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Markham’s Aaniin Community Centre. Running from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, the outdoor festival welcomed 7000 attendees.
This free annual community event is a vibrant playground for children, offering a wide range of activities all day long. Children can dive into arts and crafts, bounce on inflatables, interact with local businesses, enjoy food trucks, and experience live entertainment throughout the day. The festival caters to various interests, ensuring there’s something for every child. From meeting popular mascots, and exploring a spacious playground, to playing basketball and other sports and activations, there is no shortage of excitement and fun. The event also showcases a wide range of captivating performances, including cultural dances, singing, magic shows, and science demonstrations.
