Cambridge Winterfest

Cambridge Winterfest, formerly Christmas in Cambridge, is a dynamic and inclusive festival that has been a cornerstone of our community since 2003. What began as a single holiday celebration has blossomed into a vibrant festival comprising seven unique events that span all three core areas of Cambridge, reflecting the diverse and growing needs of our community.
Welcoming over 35,000 attendees annually, Winterfest has become a hallmark of festive joy and innovation. In the last two years, our beloved Christmas Market has doubled in size, growing from 35 to 104 vendors, creating a bustling hub of local artisans and businesses. Our Phil Kline’s Unsilent Night has achieved global acclaim, recognized as the largest of its kind worldwide among 30 international cities.
The festival’s highlights include the Winter Ice and Lights Kick-Off in Central Park, the captivating E/Motion Installation outside City Hall, and the magical Music and Lights in the Village, culminating in a community tree lighting. Other standout events include the Cambridge Christmas Market and the family-friendly New Year's Eve Party at Hespeler Arena.
Cambridge Winterfest exemplifies a commitment to community spirit, artistic expression, and economic growth, earning its place as a signature event in Ontario’s festival landscape.
