ABOUT THE EVENT / PROMOTION
Join us on Saturday, April 27th for our annual Bancroft Village Playhouse Gala! The Gala is our largest annual fundraiser, and the goal this year is to raise $10,000 for continued improvements at the Playhouse and to support our ever growing programming and community initiatives! This night is going to be SO much fun! 6:00 PM Doors open with passed cocktail dinner and drinks
6:45 PM First round of auction begins
7:00 PM ABBAMANIA hits the stage!
Join us on Saturday, April 27th for our annual Bancroft Village Playhouse Gala! The Gala is our largest annual fundraiser, and the goal this year is to raise $10,000 for continued improvements at the Playhouse and to support our ever growing programming and community initiatives! There's also going to be an incredibly exciting LIVE AUCTION that'll be hosted by Paul Switzer himself (yes, from Switzer auctions!). These will be BIG TICKET PRIZES - keep an eye out for the prize announcements coming soon! Plus, you'll get the chance to mix and mingle with the Playhouse team, as well as some of our artists, board, staff, and volunteers!
As a registered Charity that consistently maintains one of the most affordable ticket prices in the country, the Village Playhouse and Tweed & Company Theatre rely on private donations, sponsorship, and events such as this to fund costs outside of productions and operations, such as our new dressing rooms and washrooms, new theatrical curtains, LED lighting fixtures, and our upcoming elevator addition.
Join us for an incredible evening of revelry and excitement as we celebrate the Village Playhouse, arts and culture in our community, and YOU! We'll see you there!

About the Headliners: ABBAMANIA!
ABBAMANIA Canada is the top tribute production of Abba in the country and they are here at the BVP to help us celebrate! The show consists of studio musicians plus an incredible front 4 that recreate Abba … live in concert! Hear all the hits from Waterloo, Take a Chance, S.O.S, Super Trooper to Dancing Queen.
They are the only Abba production to perform for the original cast of Mamma Mia, which they have done twice! Abbamania has been touring for the last 20 years and will take you back in time when Abba ruled the
