Event Description
The Festival of Friends is a 3-day event featuring multiple stages of the best in Canadian and International musical talent. The festival also features a huge midway, over 135 vendors, and more! Now in it's 49th year, the Festival of Friends is the largest event of its type in Canada, seeing over 150,000 people attend, generating $18million in economic impact to the City of Hamilton. The event is FREE and open to everyone of all ages and backgrounds. This year's event runs August 1-3rd, 2025 and features performances by Sister Sledge, The Sugar Hill Gang, Brett Kissel, The Trews, Dan Mangan, and more!The 49th Festival of Friends, August 1-3rd, 2025 in historic Gage Park, Hamilton.

Venue Information - Gage Park, Hamilton
Built in a style reflective of the Canadian City Beautiful movement of the 1920s, Gage Park is one of Hamilton’s most iconic, historical, and cultural landscapes. Gage Park has outstanding gardens, a historical fountain, a tropical greenhouse, wide open spaces, and a large selection of trees. Since 1976, the 30-hectare park has hosted the annual Festival of Friends, one of Canada's largest free music and art events.
