Session Title: Music Licensing For Festivals and Events
Session Description: A focused conversation on music licensing to help inform and empower event hosts and organizers navigate the complexities of music licensing for successful and compliant festivals and events. Licensing requirements will be explained as well as how Entandem streamlines the process.
Speaker Bio: Serge Cassano’s career in the music industry spans almost three decades. Coming from the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency, he joined Re:Sound Music Licensing Company in 2007 where he was a Senior Representative/Manager in the Licensing department. Serge joined Entandem in July 2019 as an Industry Partnership Lead and has worked with numerous associations, municipalities, corporations, and other industry stakeholders across Canada helping them obtain the appropriate licences for the use of music. Serge has a great understanding of the value that music contributes to countless organizations across Canada.
