Welland Concerts in the Canal

Event Description

The City of Welland, Niagara's Classic Rock 91.7 Giant FM and New Country 89.1 present the Summer 2025 Concerts on the Canal Series. Please join us for Concerts on the Canal series launch on June 6th. We kick things off with party starter DJ Dave Stiles — followed by opening act Joe Lapinski, veteran Canadian musician, producer, and founder of WOW! Recording Studio in St. Catharines. Our headliner is The Smoothies who will have you dancing all night with their unique and funky spin on classic hits!

These free, family friendly outdoor performances will take place at the beautiful Merritt Park Amphitheatre located at 151 King St, Welland, ON.

Gates open at 6pm. Food and drinks available starting at 6pm.
