April Tours at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons
Join an exclusive, small-group tour led by one of our most seasoned historical interpreters this spring—before we are officially open! Tours include a pre-determined route through the historic site, an introductory film as well as access to the Restaurant, Museum and Gift Shop.
April Tour Times:
- Tuesdays to Fridays: 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Saturdays and Good Friday (April 18):
- 10:30 a.m.
- Noon
- 1 p.m.
- 3 p.m.
Note that most buildings will be open, but some will still be undergoing curatorial maintenance in preparation for summer. Historical animals will still be at their home farms.

38th Annual Pelham Art Festival
The 38th Annual Pelham Art Festival will take place in-person this Mother’s Day Weekend (May 9-11). All art lovers are welcome to attend the festival to listen to live music, browse and meet over 80 juried artists’ collections and even take home your favourite piece! The online festival also takes place for the entire month of May, where you can browse all selected artwork.

Guelph Musicfest presents Bénédicte Lauzière (violin) & Ken Gee (piano)
Guelph Musicfest opens its 5-concert 2025 series at the Guelph Youth Music Centre with a recital by Bénédicte Lauzière (violin) & Ken Gee (piano). Described as “beautiful to watch and breathtaking to hear” by the Guelph Mercury, violinist Bénédicte Lauzière enjoys a prolific career on the Canadian stage. She is concertmaster of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, with which she is often featured as a soloist. She is an avid chamber musician; her recent collaborations include Emanuel Ax and members of the Penderecki String Quartet. Ken Gee is the founder and artistic director of Guelph Musicfest. PROGRAM: Tchaikovsky, Melodie in E-flat major op. 42; Amy Beach, Violin Sonata, op. 34; Debussy, Clair de lune (arr. Roelens); Brahms, Violin Sonata no. 2 in A major, op. 100; Chopin, Nocturne in c-sharp minor (arr. Milstein)
