Tracie Wallis is the Coordinator for Events & Permits at The Niagara Parks Commission. She moved to Canada in 2002 and began working in the Canadian workforce with a background in Human Resources Management, Software Program Development, Loan Underwriting and Call Centre Management.
Before joining The Niagara Parks Commission in 2012, Tracie worked as a General Manager for a regional tent and event rental company for over 8 years. During this time, she developed a passion for festivals and events.
In her free time, Tracie is part of an amateur theatre group that focuses on comedic plays written by well-known Canadian playwrights.
Tracie brings a unique perspective to festivals and events as both an event producer and facilitating third party events within a financially self-sufficient provincial park. She has a strong understanding of the trends, risks, and challenges facing the industry.
