All Thursday night films are introduced by film critic and programmer Joan Nicks.

Joan Nicks, film critic and writer, programs film series for the Niagara Falls History Museum and advises on film programming for the Niagara Artists Centre (NAC). She collaborates with the Gallery Players of Niagara on special silent film events. She curated image projections for the “Flutes en Route” concert (2017) featuring flutist Doug Miller, and concerts by Chorus Niagara and Toronto Orpheus Choir. She is recipient of the Laura Sabia Award (2003) for women’s contributions to the arts in Niagara.

Parking behind the Museum is currently under construction as we build our exciting new Culture Hub. Look for City parking lots off of Main Street, Ferry Street, and Peer Street. You will also find on-street parking throughout the neighborhood.

Event Location

Visitors to the Museum in the heart of Niagara Falls will experience history first-hand during their visit. While here try on a replica uniform from the War of 1812, feel the heft of a musket, build a bridge to span the Niagara Gorge or walk the tightrope like the daredevils from the past.  The flagship museum offers the most comprehensive visit to the history of the Museum along with an active programme schedule.
