Winter Wonderland is back in Nautical Village - Pickering! Celebrate winter with fun winter activities for all including ice carvers, fire pits for s'mores, crafts, giveaways and games. Be sure to visit when the sun sets to see the magical illuminated public art piece entitled "Same Material/Different Time" by Jordan Shaw. Venue Information - Millennium Square
The Millennium Square is a large public square adjacent to Beachfront Park and the Nautical Village where many of the summertime's entertainment take place. Alive with the electric energy of music, picnickers and passer byes, this is the perfect spot to catch a cool breeze off the lake and watch the sun go down.
Facilities include
- lakeside children's splash pad play area
(9:00 am to 9:00 pm, weather permitting)
- 2 beach volleyball courts
(nets hung daily during summer months)
- seasonal washrooms (8:00 am to 9:00 pm)
- seating & Lake Ontario views
- picnicking areas
- lakeside boardwalk
- Thursday Night Summer Concerts
Millennium Square also provides access to the Waterfront Trail.
