Guelph Musicfest 2024 brings The Festival Trio to Thornbury (Blue Mountain). Violinist Sadie Fields (Brussels) and cellist Paul Pulford (NB) join pianist/director Ken Gee for this special repeat performance of the Guelph Musicfest season opener. Paul, Sadie and Ken are the founding members of the trio, and look forward to their annual reunion! The program pairs two of the greatest trios ever written – the invigorating Beethoven Trio no. 1 in E-flat and the sublime Schubert Trio no. 1 in B flat – with a mesmerizing and magical trio by British composer Charlotte Bray.
