Guelph Musicfest 2024 presents virtuoso pianist Stewart Goodyear performing an all-Gershwin concert, including the solo version of Rhapsody in Blue (celebrating the 100th anniversary of this famous showpiece). Proclaimed "a phenomenon" by the Los Angeles Times and "one of the best pianists of his generation" by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Stewart Goodyear is an accomplished concert pianist, improviser and composer. Mr. Goodyear has performed with and has been commissioned by many of the major orchestras and chamber music organizations worldwide. Stewart Goodyear performs an all-Gershwin concert, including the solo version of Rhapsody in Blue (in celebration of the 100th anniversary of this famous showpiece). This is part of PIANO DUO series with Sheng Cai playing Rachmaninov, Beethoven, Chopin and Morawetz on May 31, available at a special price.
