ABOUT THE EVENT / PROMOTION

Join us for a fun-filled celebration on opening day. Vendors, live music, food, children's crafts and activities and so much more. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The historic buildings remain open for self-guided tours until 5 p.m. Watch our Facebook page updates.

Step back in time and immerse yourself in Georgina's vibrant history as we eagerly announce the opening of Georgina Pioneer Village and Archives on June 1, 2024. Venture into the heart of the past and discover the captivating stories, remarkable people and charming places that shaped the community. 

Lots of activities for the kids to enjoy! Try your luck on some old-fashioned games, archery, crafting, and more! Catch live performances by the Queensville Players under the oak tree, groove to tunes at the Bandstand, and indulge in delicious eats and cool treats. PLUS! Don't miss out on the Vendor Market featuring unique items and exciting finds! Join us for a day as we celebrate the spirit of Georgina's cherished history!

 All buildings open for viewing from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Georgina Public Library 
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Georgina Centre for Arts and Culture 
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Sibbald Point Provincial Park
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Georgina Military Museum
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Georgina Historical Society - Caboose
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Old Fashioned Games – Schoolhouse field 
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Archery 
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Children’s Crafts – School House 
  • 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. - Challenge Course drop-in - fees apply
  • 11 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. - Queensville Players – under the oak tree
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Summer Camp info - Noble House 
  • Noon – 12:30 p.m. - Queensville Players – under the oak tree
  • 1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. - Queensville Players – under the oak tree
