Take a walk on the spooky side of Wellington County history! Join us for a walk from the Wellington County Museum to the Poor House Cemetery, where over 200 people were laid to rest after being admitted as inmates to the House of Industry and Refuge. Along the way, we will be telling unsettling and spooky stories of the people who called this place home. Tours start at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm at the front steps of the Wellington County Museum and are an hour in length. The tour takes place outside on museum grounds, rain or shine. Please be advised that there are no accessibility routes for this tour, and it is designed for a 14+ audience. Tickets are $15 plus HST and can be purchased online soon at www.wellington.ca/museum.
