There would be an absolute void in the Festivals and Events industry if Delores pursued a different career. Having 30 years’ experience in community planning and development at the municipal and provincial level, there would be an evident gap that Delores’ expansive knowledge in coordinating and hosting successful events currently fulfills. Specifically, within the City of Ottawa, Delores built relationships with the Mayor’s Office and City Councilors, Senior Management and her Peers including all SEAT members, as well as the Provincial and Federal governments. Delores continues to provide her expertise on how to run a successful event to other event organizers internationally.
Delores is an exceptionally strong leader and has proven so in the management positions she has held over the past 20 years. She consistently delivers no less than the highest standard of service to not only event attendees but also to her IFEA and FEO board colleagues and Event Management School students. Delores is a very dedicated, professional and caring individual which her peers respect and is known for her commitment of doing the best job possible. Her leadership abilities have proven to allow her to adapt and maneuver to continuously provide service excellence no matter the circumstance.
