Anna was involved with the Association's growth and development in the 90's. During her involvement as a Board of Director then Vice President and President, the association experienced tremendous growth from 70 members to 300+ members. Its annual conference growing at the same time to become one of the premier tourism industry based professional and business development conferences in Ontario.
Throughout her involvement with FEO, Anna had a significant role in the development of festivals and events in Hamilton. She incubated several events during her time with Economic Development in the Tourism & Conventions Services section - one of these events continues today, The Canadian International MilitaryTattoo. Anna had also provided significant festival and event development assistance to many Hamilton organizations and groups from idea generation, to building and marketing their events so that they could maximize business opportunities. An example of this is the International Village Mustard Festival (downtown based event).
